Before leaving Bosa, it is a must to take a look at the Malaspina Castle and the Temo River, the only navigable river in Sardinia, overlooked by its characteristic colored houses.
The stage is characterized by the beauty of the sea (practically always in sight!) And by the internal ponds that often line each other along the road.
Immediately after leaving Bosa Marina, climb up to touch the town of Tresnuraghes, then continue “at high altitude” to Cuglieri: the stretch of road begins at a controlled pace, and this time it is very easy to keep the average of 25 km / h … because the fifteen kilometers are all downhill!
Just after Santa Caterina di Pittinurri you reach S’Archittu where, if you want, you can go for a swim by diving from its famous rocky arch.
Then you enter the Sinis peninsula going first to see the beautiful beach of Putzu Idu, where there is a refreshment point and then, pedaling not far from the Pond of Salt ‘e Porcus, you will meet the crossroads that leads to Is Arutas which boasts the characteristic “Beach of grains of rice” – it is so called because of the shape and consistency of the grains -.
Very pleasant to see are the archaeological remains of Tharros, located in a panoramic area at the end of Capo San Marco; then, skirting the Cabras pond, you arrive at Oristano which you must necessarily cross to reach the Santa Giusta pond and finally continue to reach Arborea.
