Ninth stage – Arbatax/Orosei

Refreshment on the route: at km 50 (Budoni)

Timed section: from km 0 to km 22 – Entrance gate opening: from 09.00 to 09.30

The end of the long circumnavigation of the coasts of Sardinia is approaching and the stage returns to skirt the sea, albeit often, to see the beautiful beaches that are always present, it is necessary to leave the Eastern Sardinian.

The path is a continuous going up and down in areas where tourist structures of a certain importance are often visible, but you will not encounter real inhabited centers except the few houses of La Caletta (with its tourist port) and those of Posada (dominated by its Castle).

The timed section at controlled speed is of a certain length: it starts already from the town of Orosei and ends at km 22 of the Capo Comino junction; it is therefore very likely that it will prove decisive in determining the final classification of the event!

The refreshment point for the day is located in the center of Budoni: immediately afterwards, you leave the Orientale Sarda for a few kilometers to see Ottiolu and San Teodoro, then, once again on the national road, it will be held up to Olbia where the event ends.

Upon arrival, each cyclist will be awarded the Finisseur Medal.

In the afternoon, at 4.00 pm, in the Main Hotel in Olbia, there will be the final awards ceremony and then, in the evening, departures by ferry.
